Tent City in Alamosa, Colorado

Circa 1875

This Tent City, inhabited by early settlers in the San Luis Valley, was originally known as Wayside Station and was located on North River Road.
In 1875 it moved to Front Street in Alamosa and became known as Alamosa Tent City.
