Items from a Living Room
in the 1900s

During the 1900s, family members would gather together in the parlor or living room to converse, do handiwork, play music and sing, and look at exotic scenes through 3-D hand-held viewers.

This permanent exhibit at the Museum gives visitors a glimpse of what life might have been like during that time.

Period furniture and furnishings, clothing, a pumb organ and phonograph, and viewer are all included in this display.
