Items from a Typical 1900s Kitchen

Everyday items used by housewives during the 1900s era are included in this permanent kitchen scene exhibit at the Museum.

A variety of sad irons;  devices for separating milk from cream, churning butter, and making cheese;  candle molds;  coffee grinders;  and a cabbage shredder are included in this display.

Also included is a "better mouse trap" for catching a family of mice, the first bathtub to be used with indoor plumbing in the town of Del Norte, dishes, and other everyday devices and furniture of the 1900s.
