Adams State College Photo Poster

State Normal School of Alamosa was later named Adams State College after Governor Billy Adams who grew up in the Alamosa area.

It was a teachers college mainly for training teachers for the elementary age group. Today it still produces fine teachers but also has degrees in other disciplines.
